About Hakimian Speech Therapy
Marissa Hakimian M.S., CCC-SLP
Hi, and welcome! I’m Marissa Hakimian, a licensed and certified
Speech-Language Pathologist (M.S., CCC-SLP).
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and my master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northwestern University.
I hold Illinois state licensure as well as national certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
For the past four years, I’ve worked as a school-based SLP supporting children from kindergarten through middle school, and I also have experience working with children from birth through high school. I’m passionate about helping kids grow their communication skills in ways that are fun, meaningful, and build lasting confidence.
Through Hakimian Speech Therapy, LLC, I’m proud to offer private speech therapy services for children in Vernon Hills and the surrounding North Suburbs (Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Buffalo Grove, Long Grove, Lake Zurich, Hawthorn Woods, Lincolnshire, Deerfield, Northbrook and More).
To best support busy families, I provide flexible options—telehealth sessions or in-person visits at your home, school, daycare, or even the local library.
Private pay is currently accepted as the payment option.
